Sermsang Power Corporation Public Company Limited (SSP) has reinforced its vital mission in youth development by driving the philosophy of “Powering people and society through continuous learning and development” via the SSP Energy Connect initiative. Most recently, the company partnered with the Faculty of Engineering, Mahasarakham University, to host a special lecture and workshop on “Renewable Energy Power Plants.” The event aimed to enrich knowledge and inspire sustainable clean energy mindsets among third- and fourth-year engineering students.
The initiative was led by Mr. Passakorn Panyaratanakorn, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of SSP, who plays a pivotal role in driving the company’s human capital development. He was accompanied by a team of experts from various departments, including Human Resources, Operations, and Business Development.
The training program focused heavily on real-world industry experiences within the renewable energy business. It covered project development, engineering design, operational management, and the maintenance of clean energy power plant systems—ensuring students gained both theoretical knowledge and practical insights. Furthermore, the team shared valuable guidance on essential skills required in the modern and future workplace, preparing the students to confidently step into the era of energy transition.
