SSP Empowers “People” to Drive Corporate Sustainability in Celebration of Pride Month Through the “Our Culture, Our Stories” Reflecting Real Success Stories

Sermsang Power Corporation Public Company Limited (SSP), a leader in the renewable energy sector, is moving forward to build a sustainable foundation for organizational growth while reinforcing the importance of human resources. In celebration of Pride Month, the company organized the “Our Culture, Our Stories” event, aiming to drive corporate culture through DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging) concepts and FAIR Core Values based on real experiences from its workforce to foster an open and equitable working environment.

The event garnered overwhelming interest from employees, with a total of 92 participants joining both on-site and online out of 128 total employees (representing 71.8%). This reflects the strong collaboration and commitment of personnel in co-creating and passing on a robust corporate culture.

The Essence of “FAIR”

The event was honored by members of the senior executive team who shared their vision. Mr. Varut Tummavaranukup, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), discussed the origins and concept behind creating the corporate values:

“During the design process of our core values, we aimed for something simple yet powerful—something that could best reflect the identity of Sermsang. Today, as the company enters its 11th year, the word ‘FAIR’ remains the clearest reflection of our true identity and who we are.”

Mr. Chayut Leeharoenkul, Chief Financial Officer (CFO), further elaborated on the fair practices and transparent management that serve as the heart of driving the organization:

“For SSP, FAIR Core Values mean operating our business with transparency and accountability. We are committed to not taking advantage of any stakeholder groups—whether they are customers, partners, or competitors. Furthermore, we ensure fairness is extended to all employees and embedded in our organizational drive. This is a principle the company has always firmly held and believed in.”

Integrating Core Values into DEIB: Weaving Differences into Collective Innovation

Another key highlight of the event was the storytelling session by employees who have grown alongside the organization for over a decade. Their stories demonstrated that SSP’s DEIB concept is not merely a policy, but a practical reality embedded within every work process. This reflects the belief that the most effective organization is one that opens up space for everyone to proudly express their differences, feel accepted, experience a sense of belonging, and receive equal opportunities to showcase their full potential.

The synergy between FAIR Values and the DEIB concept will serve as a vital mechanism in fostering an environment rich in learning, collaboration, and innovation fueled by diverse perspectives.

Honoring Employees as Role Models of Corporate Values

Furthermore, the event featured an award ceremony to boost morale and honor outstanding personnel, including:

  • The FAIR People Award 2026: An honorable award based on votes cast by fellow employees, presented to the individual who most outstandingly demonstrates the FAIR Core Values across all aspects: Flexibility, Ambitiousness, Innovation, and Responsibility. • The Long Service Award 2026: Presented to express gratitude to employees with 10 years of service who have dedicated their efforts to building a solid foundation alongside the company since its inception. There were 5 award recipients, namely:
