SSP Opens Romklao Wind Farm to Engineering Students, Advancing Clean Energy Knowledge

Sermsang Power Corporation Public Company Limited (SSP) has continued its ongoing initiative for the Renewable Energy Learning Center and Clean Energy Development. The company recently welcomed 150 third-year undergraduate students and faculty members from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Mahasarakham University, for an educational site visit at the Romklao Wind Farm in Mukdahan Province, a subsidiary of SSP. The delegation was warmly welcomed and assisted throughout the visit by Mr. Theethat Suebsang, Maintenance and Operations Manager, and Ms. Natwara Sukjorn, Assistant Human Resources Manager.

During the visit, internal engineers from Romklao Wind Farm, alongside an engineering team from Vestas, shared invaluable industry expertise. The curriculum covered the entire wind power generation process, including wind turbine systems, control systems, maintenance procedures, and efficient, eco-friendly power plant management. This educational tour fosters academic and industrial collaboration, empowering students to develop the knowledge, understanding, and skills aligned with current labor market demands, while instilling a mindset of sustainable energy efficiency.
